This is Babyplast mold designed and produced by our company. The injection molding with PC material. Mainly used for the production of ultra-small and high-precision components. Micro-sized components often require tolerances in the range of ±5 microns or less. Achieving this level of precision demands advanced machining techniques, such as ultra-fine CNC milling or wire-cut EDM.

Proper cooling is critical to avoid warping or inconsistent shrinkage in small parts. However, due to the mold’s compact size, designing efficient cooling channels while maintaining structural integrity is a significant challenge. The ejection of small, delicate parts can result in deformation or damage, so specialized ejector pins or mechanisms, such as vacuum-assisted ejection, are required to ensure perfect demolding. This mold is made of high quality mold insert steel S136 and the hardness of the steel reaches HRC48-52, the life of the mold can exceed 500,000 shots or more when the mold is well maintained.
