The product is Tooling Plastic Mold for Electrical Socket Housing. Electrical socket housings require precise dimensions to ensure a proper fit for electrical components and to maintain safety standards. Maintaining tight tolerances was crucial to avoid any issues during assembly. The socket housing needed to be durable to withstand mechanical stresses during use. The mold design had to ensure the produced parts would have the necessary strength and longevity.

In the mold processing process, the mold insert steel uses H13 steel with a hardness of HRC48 - 52, and the mold life of the steel can reach 500,000shots or more. The ejection system had to be designed to avoid leaving marks on the visible surfaces of the socket housing. This involved careful placement of ejector pins and other ejection mechanisms. The mold design needed to incorporate features such as snap fits and clips for easy assembly of the socket housing. These features required precise machining and careful consideration of material properties to function correctly.
