1. Preparatory Work:
o Determine the size and model of the gear, as well as the material and hardness of the gear. These parameters should match the design requirements of the injection mold to ensure the quality and durability of the gear.
o Clean and inspect the injection mold to ensure that the surface of the mold is free of impurities and damage, and check that the hole and shaft size of the gear match.
2. Gear Installation Sequence:
o Place the gear in the gear hole of the mold and ensure that the gear is correctly positioned and does not rub with other parts.
o Grease the shaft of the gear to facilitate its rotation.
o Insert the shaft into the gear hole and tap the shaft with a hammer or slightly so that the gear fits the shaft completely.
o Secure the gear securely to the die using nuts or other fixtures to ensure that the gear does not come loose.
3. Precautions:
o During installation, pay attention to the orientation of the gear and ensure that the gear is correctly matched with other components.
o When applying lubricating oil, too much lubricating oil should be avoided into the mold, so as not to affect the quality of the product.
o When fixing the gear, pay attention to the fastening strength of the nut or other fixing devices to ensure that the gear is firm and reliable.
Through the above steps, it is possible to ensure the correct installation of the gear in the injection thread mold, thereby improving production efficiency and product quality.
