Compared with other molds,
injection mould has a more complex and precise structure, and have higher requirements for operation and maintenance of products. Therefore, throughout the production process, correct use and careful maintenance and maintenance are crucial to maintaining the normal production of the company and improving the company's performance. Efficiency is of great significance.
1. Choose appropriate injection moulding equipment and determine reasonable process conditions. If the injection moulding machine is too small, it will not meet the requirements. If the
injection molding machine is too large, it will be a waste of energy, and the mold or template will be damaged due to improper adjustment of the mold clamping force. At the same time, Reduce efficiency.
When selecting an injection machine, you should consider ※large injection volume, effective distance of tie rod, mold installation size on the template, ※large mold thickness, ※small mold thickness, template stroke, ejection method, ejection stroke, injection pressure, mold clamping force, etc. Check all items and use them only after meeting the requirements. Reasonable determination of process conditions is also part of the correct use of molds. Too much clamping force, too high injection pressure, too fast injection rate, too high mold temperature, etc. will cause damage to the service life of the mold.
2. After the mold is installed on the injection machine, the empty mold must be run first. Observe whether the movement of each part is flexible, whether there are any abnormal phenomena, whether the ejection stroke and opening stroke are in place, whether the parting surface is tightly matched when closing the mold, whether the pressure plate screws are tightened, etc.
3. When using the mold, keep it at normal temperature. Working at normal temperature can extend the service life of the mold.
4. The sliding parts on the mold, such as guide posts, back pins, push rods, cores, etc., must be observed at any time, checked regularly, scrubbed and lubricated in a timely manner, especially in summer when the temperature is high, add less oil per shift. Oil twice to ensure the flexible movement of these sliding parts and prevent them from being stuck.
5. Before each mold clamping, attention should be paid to whether the cavity is clean. There must be no residual products or any other foreign matter left. It is strictly forbidden to use hard tools when cleaning to prevent damage to the surface of the cavity.
6. For molds with special requirements on the surface of the cavity, the surface roughness Ra is less than or equal to 0.2cm. It must not be wiped with hands or cotton wool. It should be blown with compressed air, or use high-grade napkins and high-grade absorbent cotton dipped in alcohol to gently Wipe.
7. The surface of the mold cavity must be cleaned regularly. During the molding process, the injection mold often decomposes low molecular compounds to corrode the mold cavity, making the bright cavity surface gradually dull and reducing the quality of the product. Therefore, it needs to be scrubbed regularly. For scrubbing, you can use alcohol or ketone preparations and blow dry in time after scrubbing.
8. When the operation requires temporary shutdown, the mold should be closed to prevent the cavity and core from being exposed to prevent accidental damage. If the downtime is expected to exceed 24 hours, anti-rust oil should be sprayed on the surface of the cavity and core. Or release agent, especially in humid areas and rainy seasons, anti-rust treatment must be done no matter how short the time is.
Water vapor in the air will reduce the surface quality of the mold cavity and the surface quality of the product. When the mold is used again, the oil on the mold should be removed and wiped clean before use. If there are mirror requirements, clean the mold with compressed air and then blow it dry with hot air. Otherwise, it will seep out during molding and cause defects in the product.
9. Start the machine after a temporary shutdown. After opening the mold, check whether the slider limit has moved. Only if no abnormality is found can the mold be closed. In short, you must be careful before turning on the machine and do not be careless.
10. In order to extend the service life of the cooling water channel, when the mold is out of service, the water in the cooling water channel should be cleared immediately with compressed air, put a small amount of engine oil into the mouth of the cooling water channel, and then blow with compressed air to make all cooling pipes have a layer of Anti-rust oil layer.
11. Carefully check the working status of each control component during work to prevent abnormalities in the auxiliary system. Maintenance of the heating and control systems is particularly important for hot runner molds. After each production cycle, the rod heater, belt heater, and thermocouple ohms should be measured and compared with the technical instructions of the mold to ensure that their functions are intact. At the same time, the control loop may be tested by an ammeter installed within the loop. The oil in the hydraulic cylinder for core pulling should be drained as much as possible, and the oil nozzle should be sealed to prevent hydraulic oil from leaking or contaminating the surrounding environment during storage and transportation.
12. If you hear abnormal noises from the mold or other abnormalities occur during production, you should stop the machine immediately for inspection. Mold maintenance personnel should conduct patrol inspections of the molds in normal operation in the workshop. If any abnormalities are found, they should be dealt with in a timely manner.
13. When the operator hands over the shift, in addition to handing over production and critical process records, the operator must also give a detailed explanation of the mold usage status.
14. When the mold has completed the production quantity of products and needs to be removed from the machine to replace other molds, the mold cavity should be coated with anti-rust agent, and the mold and its accessories should be sent to the mold maintenance personnel, along with the products that have passed the production of the last mold. Send it to the maintenance staff as a sample. In addition, a mold usage list should also be submitted, detailing which machine tool the mold is on, how many products have been produced since a certain month and day of a certain year, and whether the mold is in good condition now. If there is a problem with the mold, you should fill in the problem with the mold on the use form, put forward specific requirements for modification and improvement, and hand over an unprocessed sample to the custodian for reference by the mold worker when repairing the mold.
15. A mold library should be set up, with dedicated personnel to manage it, and mold files should be established. If possible, computer management of the molds should be implemented. The mold warehouse should choose a place with low moisture and ventilation, and the temperature should be kept below 70%. If the humidity exceeds 70%, the mold will easily rust. The mold should be stored on the shelf, paying attention to corrosion prevention, dust prevention, etc. Mark the need for repair or completion of repairs and maintenance.
